Overview

Based on the baseline data, the POPI has conducted a series of awareness programs aimed at mobilizing artisans and enrolling them as shareholders of the producer company across Kamakhyanagar, Odapada, and Hindol blocks. These sessions provided comprehensive information about the program, including its objectives, the roles of NABARD and POPI, and the benefits of becoming a shareholder.

It was observed that female members showed a higher level of interest and willingness to join the producer company compared to their male counterparts. This positive response from women artisans demonstrates their eagerness to participate in collective entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.
